A Sherry-cask-finished whisky made with buckwheat for the Eddu range, which was initially matured in a Cognac barrel before making its way into a cask that previously held Pedro Ximénez. It was released as part of La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary celebrations.
Nose: Plums and prunes, with a little whiff of earthy herbs.
Palate: Orange peels, lemon balm and intense Sherry sweetness.
Finish: Dried fruit, brown sugar and honey.
