All fruit is handpicked at the point of optimal ripeness. The grapes are bunch-sorted and fermented with a pure yeast culture for the ultimate purity in fruit expression. The batches are fermented separately with constant oxygen integration to stabilise colour and define tannin structure. After a 12-month maturation period, each barrel is tasted and a final blend is then compiled. The final Merlot blend is barrelled for an additional 3 months, to ensure a happy marriage of the batches. This Merlot is matured in French oak barrels to compliment the quintessential fruit expression of this wine. Bottled at 14,5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: A layered flavour spectrum with depth that greets you outrightly on the nose.

Palate: The palate entrance is full, offering ripe and concentrated flavours. A beautiful balance of toasted oak and ripe cherry fruit with a sweet mid-palate impression and just enough freshness.

Finish: Long and lingering finish with lingering notes of oak spice.
