Released early 2018 and crafted using three different types of casks. Matured for 16 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished for several months in port wine barrels. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: A classic Irish nose of honey, yoghurt and tinned stone fruit, this also has a lovely cassia bark character.
Palate: Spiced and rich with juicy summer fruits, Christmas spices, pine oil, manuka honey and peaches in syrup.
Finish: Thick and syrupy with notes of red berries and Golden Syrup.
