The 2nd edition of the Bruichladdich Laddie 10yo was made with unpeated malt, distilled in 2006 and matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon, sherry and French wine casks. Only 18,000 individually numbered bottles were produced. Nonchillfiltered, naturally colored and bottled at 50%.
Nose: Light honey and citrus with hints of tobacco and creamy fudge. Sweet oak, praline, vanilla and milk chocolate.
Palate: Sweet barley and oak with ripe peaches, honeydew melon, raisins and lemony ginger.
Finish: Long and floral with honeysuckle, rose, lemon zest and delicate pineapple.
