The first Bottled In Bond* American single malt from Colorado and only the fourth release in the USA. Made using 100% malted barley that was grown in the UK and malted at Muntons Malt in the UK. Milled, mashed, fermented, double pot distilled and aged in Boulder, Colorado. Matured for 4 years in #3 heavily-charred, virgin American white oak barrels. Bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Notes of limestone, pencil, and orange blossom.

Palate: Heather, meringue, ginger and apple with a supple, full body.

Finish: A wonderful finish of croissant, sourdough, and bright, young raspberry.

*The Bottled In Bond Act of 1897 was written to ensure that the product the consumer was buying was really whiskey, according to a standardised definition. In modern times, this ensures that the consumer knows three major things: It’s at least 4 years of age and all the whiskey is harvested from the same season, it is bottled at exactly 50%, and the labeling states where it’s made and who bottled the whiskey inside.
