A single cask release from the Highlands Blair Athol distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing under their Old Particular (OLP) range. Distilled in August 1997, matured for 21 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in November 2018. Only 282 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.4%.
Nose: Fruity and floral, with freshly cut barley and a sugary syrup quality.
Palate: A sweetie shop! Mango, pineapple, tropical fruits and pear drops.
Finish: Soft spices, tangerine, more pear and sugar glazed almonds.
