A single cask release from the Highlands Ben Nevis distillery by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing under their First Editions range. Distilled in 1996, matured for 23 years in a refill sherry butt and bottled in 2020. Only 409 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 51.5%.
Nose: Chocolate, banana, and green foliage.
Palate: Sweet with notes of fudge, raspberry, mint and a hint of spice.
Finish: Long with lingering pepper.
