An innovative blend of three white grape varieties, Sauvignon blanc (49%), Chardonnay (25%) and Semillon (26%), from the sandstone-derived soils in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Chardonnay was fermented in Manetti amphorea, Semillon neutral barrel fermented, and Sauvignon blanc fermented in Manetti amphorae and neural barrels 4th-fill for 5 months. A total of 3,612 bottles were produced. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Hints of asparagus and white pepper. Subtle salinity with flinty mineral notes.
Palate: Gooseberries on entry. Mid-palate reveals subtle savoury white pepper undertones. Lovely waxy texture.
Finish: Refreshing acidity, with subtle notes of lime on the finish. A beautifully focused wine.
