The Old & Rare (OAR) Heritage series is a limited-edition range of single cask bottlings by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing. This single malt from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands was distilled in 1988, matured in a hogshead for 31 years and bottled in 2019. Only 272 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.2%

Nose: Coal dust, raspberry, leather and honey.

Palate: Meaty with an oily peatiness and more notes of fruit.

Finish: A long, lingering finish with a touch of black pepper.
