Blaaack is the 2020 limited-edition whisky released to celebrate not only the annual Ardbeg Day but also the 20th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee, which was founded in 2000 a few years after the distillery was reopened. Matured in Pinot Noir casks from New Zealand and bottled in Ardbeg's very first black bottle. Bottled at 46%.

Nose: Baked fruit pudding, cedar wood and aromatic cigar box. Oak tannin, rich truffles and subtle notes of smoky jam tart. 

Palate: Aniseed, soot and summer fruits (cherries, strawberries, apricots and pears), give way to crumbly pastry, dark chocolate, coffee and almonds.

Finish: A long, lingering sooty finish.
