We're sorry, Ardbeg Blaaack is now sold out!

Although global Ardbeg Day celebrations this year were sadly cancelled, this year's limited release is now available in SA. The Ardbeg Blaaack was matured in Pinot Noir casks from New Zealand. Bottled in Ardbeg's very first black bottle at 46%.

This year we've taken the difficult decision to bundle the Blaaack (R1,500) with the 10yo at a promotional price (R570). The limited stock of the annual Ardbeg releases always results in disappointment as there is never enough to go around. We've coupled these two whiskies in an attempt to support and further grow Ardbeg in SA, so next year we can all hopefully get more stock of the limited release.

Ardbeg Blaaack Official Tasting notes:

Nose: Baked fruit pudding, cedar wood and aromatic cigar box. Oak tannin, rich truffles and subtle notes of smoky jam tart. 

Palate: Aniseed, soot and summer fruits (cherries, strawberries, apricots and pears), give way to crumbly pastry, dark chocolate, coffee and almonds.

Finish: A long, lingering sooty finish.
