A small batch, vintage release from anCnoc, which is produced at the Knockdhu distillery in the Highlands. Distilled in 2001, matured in a combination of Spanish and American oak casks and bottled in December 2015. Only 1,000 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Brimming with freshly squeezed lemons and ripe blood oranges. Creamy vanilla, ground spices and a touch of new leather follow.
Palate: A hint of set lime honey, vanilla and a distinct chocolate presence.
Finish: The finish drifts off slowly with a zesty freshness.
