A rather rare independent release from the Knockdhu distillery (producer of anCnoc single malt) in Speyside, in a new range called Spirit of Art. Distilled in 2007, matured for 13 years and bottled in November 2020. Only 257 bottles were produced. Bottled at a high strength of 53%.

This whisky comes with a limited edition signed print, “Autumn morning Knockdhu”, as pictured on the label of the bottle, by artist Stuart Buchanan.

Nose: Floral grassiness with hints of honey in the background.

Palate: Spicy fruit cake mix fruitiness rounding off with cinnamon and vanilla.

Finish: A wonderful long finish that lingers on and on and on.
