A staple (and must-try) whisky in the Springbank range. Produced in limited quantities every year with each batch varying slightly in taste. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 57.1%
Nose: Reminiscent of an autumn forest full of pine and chestnut trees, with the iodine of a Campbeltown malt and a hint of peat.
Palate: A richness balanced between citrus marmalade on toast and caramelised toasted marshmallows, not forgetting vanilla and pepper. A lip licking meaty dram.
Finish: A delicious, viscous, smooth liquid with a salty edge. Notes of slow baked ham joint marinated in a rich honey sauce.
