An intense and powerful cask strength Aberlour, matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and released in small batches. A’bunadh means ‘the original’ in Gaelic, and is made in homage to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming. Nonchillfiltered and bottled at 61.2%.
Nose: Aromas of allspice, praline and spiced orange, balanced with deep notes of Oloroso sherry.
Palate: Full bodiend with orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger, spiked with dark bitter chocolate with lingering sherry notes and oak.
Finish: Robust and long lasting, with bittersweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak.
