A single cask release by independent bottlers Douglas Laing in their Xtra Old Particular (XOP) range. Distilled at an undisclosed Speyside distillery in November 1967, matured for an incredible 50 years in a single sherry butt and bottled in August 2018. Although the distillery is not specified, there is a particular producer who is most often referred to on independent releases as "Probably Speyside's Finest", and that is Glenfarclas. Only 248 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.2%.

Nose: Carries a big sherry sweetness, then comes chocolate orange, stewed fruits (plums and cherries) and chewed leather.

Palate: Zesty orange with fruitcake and cocoa developing to winter spice and smoky espresso.

Finish: Lingering with peppery chocolate, malted barley, ginger and treacle toffee.
