An unwooded style of the Portuguese variety, Verdelho. Grapes were harvested on 27 January from vines planted in 2007 with an average yield of 11.7 tons per hectare. Grapes were destalked, crushed and pressed to settling tanks. They were then clean racked to stainless steel fermentors before undergoing a 21 day fermentation at 15°C and left on the lees for 2 months prior to bottling. Bottled at 14%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Aromas of apricot and stone fruit on the nose.

Palate: Zesty citrus, lemon grass and hints of spice on the palate.

Finish: A clean and refreshing finish with a hint of salinity.
