Collection 96 gets its name from the outstanding award of 96 points given to the Prosecco DOC Brut by Decanter magazine. Masottina Collezione 96 Rosé Brut Prosecco 2021 blends the elegance of Pinot Noir (10%) and the versatility of Glera (90%). The Glera grapes are white vinified at a temperature of 14-18°C. The Pinot Noir grapes undergo brief pre-fermentation maceration for 24 – 36 hours at a temperature of 8-10°C. The two base wines are then blended before prise de mousse, which takes place on selected yeasts for at least sixty days. The wine ages in bottle for a month before distribution. Residual sugar: 11g/l. Bottled at 11%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Clear fragrant hints of wild strawberries, raspberries, red currants and cherries, enhanced by white pulp peaches, apricots and a floral touch.

Palate: Fresh on the palate, where fruit predominates.

Finish: This wine is elegant, pleasantly fruity and delicate, but full of personality.
