Breath of the Isles 13 Year Old Adelphi

Limited to one bottle per customer.

A single malt from an undisclosed Scottish Isle by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2007, drawn from a refill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2020. Only 656 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 58.6%.

Nose: Peach Melba, lychee, gorse flower, croissants, sweetcorn lathered with butter and driftwood.

Palate: A beguiling combination of pink peppercorn, Hobnob biscuits, sweet and salty popcorn, and the whiff of peatbogs, resolutely backed up by a lurking peat.

Finish: Medium and savoury.
