A single cask release from the Ben Nevis distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 2015, matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry puncheon and bottled in 2020. Only 622 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural strength of 61.3%.
Nose: A deeply savoury nose swimming with aromas of new welly boots, Marmite, beef jus, star anise, soy and oyster sauces, Black Forest gâteaux and rich game.
Palate: Fig chutney, Soreen malt loaf, liquorice, green tea, beef jerky and kicap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce).
Finish: An almost edible finish, not for the faint hearted.
