A single cask release from the Speyside Mortlach distillery bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 2003, matured for 17 years in a first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in 2020. Only 223 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 58.1%.
Nose: Brandy butter, orange peel, rice pudding, marmalade, barley sugar and papaya.
Palate: Initially sweet with sugared almonds, fruit cocktail juice, coconut tray bake, hazelnuts.
Finish: Long and smooth.
