Launched in 2023 in celebration of the Distillery of the Year award at the Scottish Whisky Awards. Produced from unpeated spirit, this limited release was distilled between 16-18 August 2018, matured in ex-Four Roses bourbon casks before being finished in Quercus humboldtii Colombian virgin oak casks and bottled in August 2023. At five years old, this is the oldest Isle of Raasay whisky released to date and their first major unpeated release. 9,500 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50.7%.
Nose: Notes of vanilla and butterscotch.
Palate: Vanilla, butterscotch and black cherry.
Finish: A long finish of crème brûlée.
