Naarangi (the Hindi name for 'orange') was first aged in ex-oloroso sherry casks, and then matured for an additional three years in casks which were seasoned with wine and orange peels, producing a whisky with a rather intense note of orange. Bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Lightly toasted oak with orange peel, rich sherry, chocolate and mint. Cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.Ā 

Taste:Ā Coats the mouth with chocolate and cinnamon, and of courseĀ thereā€™s the orange notes again, but more of an orange cake this time. Along with black pepper and ginger spice.

Finish:Ā Long and oily with lip-smacking cinnamon.
