A single cask release from the Highlands Blair Athol distillery by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing under their First Editions (FIR) range. Distilled in 1995, matured for 24 years in a sherry butt and bottled in 2019. Only 264 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 55.1%
Nose: Blackcurrants, mint and apples.
Palate: Sweet and fruity with red berries, salted caramel and a hint of foliage.
Finish: Lingers with lengthy fruit notes.
