Bulleit bourbon, produced at Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, is characterized by having a high rye content for a bourbon (at approximately 28% of the mash bill) and being aged at least six years. Bottled at 45%.
Nose: Bright with orange zest, toasted oak and vanilla.
Palate: Further orange notes, followed by some warming winter spices and a hint of tobacco leaf.
Finish: Smooth and spicy.
