An exclusive single cask, single malt release from the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands. Distilled in August 2011, matured in a refill ex-bourbon barrel and finished for up to 12 months in a first-fill ex-Bordeaux red wine hogshead, before being bottled in September 2021. Only 289 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57.3%. (Bottle size 750ml)  

Nose: Candied citrus peels and fresh strawberries are followed by juicy pineapple and spicy ground ginger. 

Palate: Sweet clove and cinnamon baked red apple.

Finish: Melted brown sugar to finish.

This release is part of a pair of Loch Lomond single malt exclusives, the other was finished in an ex-Jurancon white wine hogshead.
