So this is a rather interesting whiskey. The label does not say "Straight Bourbon" meaning this is not matured for the required minimum of 2 years in order to qualify but on further inspection this is noted on the back label. The product was launched in 2014 and pays homage to the two types of barrels that Americans hold dear – gun barrels and whiskey barrels. Bottled at 45%.

Nose: Soft, creamy and corn-driven, with sweet stone fruit and chareed oak.

Palate: Simple, direct and the creamy softness continues.

Finish: Slightly nutty with praline and cocoa.
