Redesigned in 2016, Tomatin 18yo is matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts for 2 to 3 years. Bottled at 46%.
Nose: Sweet sherry with fresh apples, cinnamon, vanilla and hint of heather along with raisins and baked apples.
Palate: Sweet and creamy at first with a hint of oak, honey, apricots and malt, moving on to citrus and dark chocolate.
Finish: Rich and smooth, slightly drying with more malt and bittersweet spices.
